Oregon State University Extension Service Master Gardeners are on hand to answer your tricky gardening questions while children explore a worm bin, color and play garden games. Plus, take home free publications that help you protect kids, pets, water and wildlife while growing a healthy and abundant yard that provides habitat and helps make your neighborhood more livable.

The Peninsula Park Rose Garden located in North Portland is Portland's first public rose garden. As you step into the sunken rose garden, you walk through lush paths, sweeping archways and over two acres packed with nearly 9,000 traditional rose plantings.
The park will be celebrating 100 years of beautiful roses this June.

Master Gardeners will be at the Park four Sundays this summer to answer your rose–care questions.

Pittock mansion, an elegant 100–year–old house, museum and gardens overlooking downtown Portland, provides fun and fascinating experiences. Pioneer Georgiana Pittock was considered the Queen of Portland's roses. She introduced rose competitions, orginated the Portland Rose Society, and the Rose Festival. Thanks to Georgiana, Portland became the City of Roses.

Visitors from around the world come to enjoy the view at this lovely 46–acre city park, tour the mansion and gardens. Bring your gardening questions to the Master Gardeners at the Pittock Mansion!
