The Multnomah County Master Gardener Chapter offers recognition each year to people who have made significant efforts to both Chapter and Program.
Recognizes a veteran master gardener for outstanding volunteer efforts on behalf of the Multnomah Chapter, such as participating in an ongoing committee, serving in a leadership capacity, innovating or initiating chapter activities. The nominee’s work must be of some time rather than a one-time event or one-time committee. See full criteria here.

Recognizes efforts of a veteran Master Gardener, an unsung hero, whose support, activities and work sustain the Master Gardener Chapter and Metro Program activities in Multnomah County. See full criteria here.

Nominees for each of these awards must be a veteran master gardener who has completed their recertification and payback requirements.
Annually, outside individuals, groups and businesses who have supported the Multnomah Master Gardener Chapter with in-kind contributions of facilities and personal efforts may receive certificates honoring their contributions.

Each year, the Multnomah Chapter of Master Gardeners offers three scholarships for class registration (excluding lodging and meals) to its member Master Gardeners to attend the annual OSU Extension Service Mini-College.
The purpose of the scholarships is to encourage attendance and participation in this statewide event and to enhance your experiences as a Master Gardener. See full criteria and parameters here.
